We ask all patients to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if they need to change or cancel an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to other patients and helps keep the practice running smoothly. Missed or failed appointments prevent other patients from being seen and can lead to unnecessary delays in treatment.

To reduce the impact of missed appointments, Affinity Dental Care & Implant Centre has a strict policy of charging for any appointments that are missed or cancelled late. This policy ensures that the practice can continue to operate efficiently and provide the highest level of care for all our patients.

For longer appointments, such as complex dental procedures or implant treatments, we may also request a deposit when booking. This helps secure the time for you and ensures we can allocate the necessary resources for your care.

It is our practice policy to charge a fee for any missed or late-cancelled appointments. The fee helps cover operating expenses, including staff time, clinical preparation, and room allocation. This enables us to continue offering high-quality dental services without disruption.

The charge for missed or failed appointments is calculated at £90 per hour, based on the length of the appointment missed. This means that shorter appointments are charged proportionally, while longer appointments are billed according to the time booked.

Providing notice of cancellations allows us to offer timely care to other patients and helps maintain the smooth running of the practice.
