Peter is our Clinical Director and has a wealth of experience when it comes to dentistry. Peter is Scottish and proud of it, he moved to this area in 2000. He helped establish Affinity Dental Care & Implant Centre in 2007. He enjoys dentistry, it is a must to be able to give it your best on a daily basis. Peter is continually learning and developing us as a team. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, spending time with family socialising and being on two wheels!
Michael is working towards his masters in restorative dentistry. He qualified from Cardiff University in 2015. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and looking forward to being part of our team. He has recently become a father and enjoys spending time with his wife & new-born son.
Christy qualified as a therapist where the study of anatomy and physiology sparked her interest in the medical field. She has been working in the dental industry for over 10 years. Christy recognizes that dental anxiety can be an issue for some. She is a qualified Hypnotherapist and Counsellor. She is happy to help manage these fears. She is upstairs in the office, just ask to say hello!
Helen joined Affinity Dental Care & Implant Centre in 2012. She graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 and worked full time in her home county of Cumbria before moving to Gloucestershire and joining Affinity. Helen is a dedicated member of our team who is committed to helping our patients improve and maintain their oral health in a caring and gentle manor. Outside of work she enjoys running, keeping fit, and cooking. Helen is also a keen biker.
Tracey has been in the dental profession for over 10 years. She is fascinated by dentistry and all it has to offer.
Qualifying in Dental Hygiene from Cardiff University in 2017 she has continued her education and will soon be offering other treatments. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, taking her children and dogs out to explore the Forest of Dean and all it has to offer.
Gerda is originally from South Africa, she has recently moved to Gloucestershire from Cardiff where she worked at a large dental practice. Gerda brings with her enthusiasm, and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to patient care. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking her dogs, spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Justyna has worked in customer service and admin for many years. She is new to dentistry and enjoying learning about the patient journey. She is organised and efficient, and looking forward to meeting all of our wonderful patients. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends.
Tori has been in the dental profession for over 10 years. She is currently completing her sedation training to expand her knowledge. Tori is keen to learn and keep up with the latest technology In her free time, she loves to explore the countryside on her motorcycle. She is also enjoys going on long walks with her partner and her dog called Bolt.
Ellie started her journey as a dental nurse in September 2021. She is working hard and learning new things everyday. Ellie loves the patient journey and meeting new people. She enjoys working chairside and supporting the patient and clinician. In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Hunnie is enjoying the journey to becoming a qualified nurse. She loves dentistry and all it has to offer. She is looking to qualify as a dental nurse and continue her education further in the study of hygiene therapy. In her spare time she enjoys music, keeping fit, spending time with friends and family.
Daniela has chosen to become a dental nurse because she wants to help people feel good about them selves. She enjoys working chair side supporting the clinician and working with the team. In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit, and spending time with family.
Jackie is an essential part of our team. She comes in and supports us by ensuring the practice is spotless. Jackie is very social, and a busy bee, helping out at the care home, cleaning our practice, and the homes of others. Jackie enjoys doing all she can for others. A true inspiration. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.
