2. Fasting before your appointment…
To provide you with the best results, we advise you to fast before your appointment, having only water or coffee and tea without milk or sugar. If your appointment is in the afternoon then we recommend not eating for 2 hours prior the appointment.
3. Attend your appointment at Affinity Dental Clinic…
At your appointment, one of our experienced dental nurses will run through the procedure and answer any questions you may have to ensure everything is clear.
A small sample of blood is then taken from your finger, where it is fed into a special analyser to provide you your results within a matter of minutes.
4. What happens next?
Once you are provided your results, if they are within the normal ranges as set by the NHS, then keep up the good work.
If your results fall outside the normal ranges, we advise you to follow this up with your GP as these results are not a diagnosis.
