Veneers

Veneers are like very thin porcelain ‘false finger nails’ that are bonded onto the front surface of a tooth but are less than 1 mm in thickness. They achieve their strength when securely bonded onto your tooth.

They are individually crafted for each tooth required by our skilled porcelain technician to look so natural that they are virtually impossible to spot. The teeth need minimal and sometimes no preparation, and from the impressions we take, together with our skill in prescribing the right match for you, the technician creates the magic.

Veneers may be required to:

• Mask broken, worn or chipped teeth
• Improve teeth colour that cannot be whitened to achieve the desired result
• Spaces between teeth leaving a gappy smile can be veneered to close these and create the perfect smile
• Irregular teeth that are not for orthodontics first. We would always recommend considering orthodontics to straighten your teeth first but if time and acceptance for this is not your wish then we would plan if veneers were clinically the right and quicker solution for you.
